Voting should be easy for everybody

Remember, You muSt be registered to vote 30 Days PRIOR to an election.

Where to Vote

There are several places you can cast your ballot depending on your situation.  Most people will vote in person at the polling place on their voter registration card.

Assisted Voting

Bring Your Photo ID

When voting in person, you will be asked to show one of the following Photo IDs:

  • SC Driver’s License
  • SC Department of Motor Vehicles ID Card
  • SC Voter Registration Card with Photo
  • Federal Military ID
  • US Passport

When to Vote

Polling places are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.  Anyone in line at 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to vote. Elections are typically held in June and November.
